The next phase of demolition is set to get underway.
Work on the removal of 99-97 Church Street continues. Per recent discussions between the development managers and the demolition subcontractors this week, it is their view that it is safer to brace, shore, and carry out additional hand demolition until the walls reach a height were it would be safe to proceed with machine demolition.
As we’ve reported, demolition machinery is on site and ready to be engaged when it is safe to do so and when it is necessary.
As such, we expect the machine demolition process will start either tomorrow, Friday or else likely early next week, depending on progress.
