Excavation continues at The Saint this week.

Excavation work is ongoing at the Saint construction site in preparation for the setup of the drilling rig that is expected to get underway in the coming days.

Starting tomorrow, Thursday, October 15, the utility lines running under the site along Church Street will be dug out and exposed — “daylighted” — for inspections. This work will be performed by a combination of mechanical and hydro excavation. The work may take up to five days. During this process, a portion of the Church Street sidewalk will have to be fenced off for safety and operational reasons. Pedestrians will be redirected to an alternate route.

We expect work to begin on the construction of the drilling platform, to get under later this month.

Work may continue on site this Saturday, October 17. We will have an update on this by Friday afternoon.

Excavated soil is being removed by truck from the site, using the Lombard Street gate as the access point.

If you have any questions about this work please get in touch with us via email at contact@thesaintconstruction.info

Excavation work will move to the west side of the site as soon as tomorrow, Thursday, October 15, if weather conditions permit.
