Key milestone:

• Excavation is approaching underground level 3. 

Crews are continuing to haul excavated soil from the site. As workers dig down, lagging boards are added to the shoring walls. This is a standard construction procedure which ensures the integrity of the shoring walls as work proceeds to lower levels.

Saturday work – March 6

• The site will be open this Saturday to continue work. This will include making an extension of the stair tower at the north west corner of the site so workers can access the bottom level of the site.  
• Hours of work will follow the City of Toronto’s by-laws. 

Outlook for the week of March 8

Excavation work will again be the focus of work next week. Soil will continue to be hauled away from the site.
