Hauling is set to finish late next week at the Saint.
This construction team is digging footings* on site this week and next week. There is no work scheduled for this Saturday, July 17.
Hauling excavated soil away from the site is scheduled to finish late next week. The Long-arm Excavator will be removed from the site following completion of hauling.
Stair towers that provide access for workers are being extended as the crew reaches farther down.
* NOTE: A footing is a part of the foundation construction for a building. It creates an attachment point between the foundation and the soil. Footings are typically made of steel rebar and concrete material that is placed into a trench. The role of a footing is to support a building and help settling.
Work will continue to start at 7 am on weekdays this week.
The time work ends each day may vary but will generally remain within the standard City of Toronto construction hours.
