The Saint Construction Liaison Meeting for May 2022
We had a constructive meeting on Thursday, May 26. The Ward 13 Toronto Centre office was represented by Felicity Campbell. The main topic of discussion was the need to consider a rearrangement of the hoarding and overhead protection setup along Lombard Street. It is, as neighbours well know, a very tight site. Adjustments will need to be made to the original plan along Lombard Street. Residents indicated they are open to reviewing and discussing a new option that is safe and ‘permanent’ for the duration of major construction on the site. It was agreed that the construction management team will work with the adjacent residents, City staff, and the Ward 13 Councillor’s Office to come up with an effective solution. We will report more on this in the coming weeks.
