Roof work & Landscaping work on Church Street are ongoing. 

    Saturday Work  

      • Once again, work crews will be on site Saturday, August 24, doing a variety of tasks to set up the following week’s work plan

        This week’s construction outlook,
        August 26 – 30:

            • Landscaping work continues along the Church Street frontage.

            • Roof concrete work ongoing.

            • At the ‘Top of house’ (roof) both the curtain wall and the window wall frames are getting closer to completion though work will continue through the week.

            • Suite Studs are active on Level 35.

            • Tile is active on Level 21.

            • Kitchens are active on Level 19.

            • Countertops on Level 18.

            • Drywall and carpentry ongoing.

          Deliveries the week of August 19 – 23:

            • Some mechanical and electrical equipment deliveries are scheduled for the week. These deliveries are not expected to affect road access on Lombard.

            • Concrete delivery: 1 this week to support the roof work. 

            • We expect up to 2 drywall deliveries for this week.

            • We expect 1 kitchen delivery.

            • We expect 1 window delivery.

            • We expect 1 carpentry delivery.

            • We expect 1 tile delivery.

            • We expect 1 countertop delivery.

            • There may also be 1 appliance delivery.

          There will be (3) Traffic Management staff and one (1) Paid Duty Police Officer will be on site to manage traffic flows this coming week.

          Looking Ahead 

          • We have no confirmed date for planned work by Rogers to connect the site to Rogers Services.
          • The Building Maintenance Unit (BMU) is expected to be delivered to the site the first week of September. This delivery is not expected to have a significant impact on pedestrian or vehicle traffic around the site. 
          • The crane is expected to be dismantled and removed in September. 
          • Move-ins to the Saint are expected to begin at the end of the year. 
          • The Hoist (external construction elevators) is expected to remain in place through 2024. 
          • Landscaping work on Lombard will follow work that is now underway on Church Street. Note that the landscaping work  does not include the area around the Hoist (external construction elevators), as it continues to operate. 
          • Our next construction liaison meeting will be held on September 26, 2024. 

          Upcoming Construction Liaison Meetings

          At the July 25 construction liaison meeting it was decided to not hold a meeting August. If the need arises to hold a meeting then this may be revised, with due notice.
