Saturday Work – next two weekends.
- Crews are expected to be active on site on Saturday, October 26, and on Saturday, November 2.
This week’s construction outlook,
October 28 – November 1:

- Landscaping work continues along the Church Street & Lombard Street frontages.
- Roof work ongoing:
- The roof curtain wall frames are nearing completion.
- The Building Maintenance Unit (BMU) installation is also nearing completion.
- Remaining Derrick Sections to be delviered to the site.
Derrick sections were delivered to the site on Thursday, October 24, and Friday, October 25.- Derricks will be used to take the crane down.
- Suite Studs are active on Level 45.
- Tile is active on Level 28.
- Kitchens are active on Level 26.
- Countertops on Level 24.
- Drywall and carpentry ongoing.

Deliveries the week of October 28
– November 1:
- Concrete deliveries 1 per week, small pours
- 2 drywall
- 1 kitchen
- 1 window
- 1 carpentry
- 1 tile
- 1 countertop
- 1 appliance

There will be (3) Traffic Management staff and one (1) Paid Duty Police Officer will be on site to manage traffic flows this coming week.
Looking Ahead
- The Derrick which will be used in the process to lower the main crane over the course of one (1) or two (2) days.
- Minto’s construction management team is working to confirm the dates for the crane removal. It is expected to occur withing the next two weeks. As soon as a date is available, neighbouring residents will be notified.
- The Crane removal will require a road closure of Lombard Street adjacent the site. Provisions will be made to allow access in and out of neighbouring buildings, such as The Bentley.
- Move-ins to the Saint are expected to begin at the end of the year.
- The Hoist (external construction elevators) is expected to remain in place through 2024 and into January, 2025.
- Landscaping work on Lombard will follow work that is now underway on Church Street. Note that the landscaping work does not include the area around the Hoist (external construction elevators), as it continues to operate.
- Our November construction liaison meeting will be held on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at 3 pm via ZOOM.
